Diaspora Care is seeking distinguished leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, philanthropists, and community changemakers to serve on our Global Advisory Council.
As a strategic volunteer body, the Global Advisory Council provides independent guidance, global perspectives, and thought leadership to help Diaspora Care fulfill its mission of connecting the Indonesian diaspora through compassion, collaboration, and social impact. Council members play an essential role in ensuring that our programs remain relevant, accountable, sustainable, and impactful for Indonesians around the world and communities across Indonesia.
This is an opportunity to contribute your experience, network, and strategic insights—not through day-to-day operations, but by helping shape the long-term direction of a growing global movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on organizational growth, governance, and long-term sustainability.
- Offer insights on global trends, philanthropy, humanitarian response, and diaspora engagement.
- Serve as ambassadors for Diaspora Care within professional, academic, business, and community networks.
- Help identify strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, universities, and nonprofit organizations.
- Mentor emerging leaders and support the development of future volunteer leadership.
- Participate in periodic advisory meetings and strategic planning discussions.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and measurable social impact across Diaspora Care initiatives.

Commitment
- Volunteer position
- Approximately 3–5 hours per month
- Virtual meetings with occasional opportunities to participate in global or regional events
- Flexible engagement based on expertise and availability
