Design Programs That Create Lasting Impact
Diaspora Care is seeking passionate professionals and community leaders to join our Program Committee—a collaborative team dedicated to designing, strengthening, and overseeing programs that improve the lives of Indonesians around the world and communities across Indonesia.
The Program Committee serves as the organization’s strategic program advisor, ensuring that every initiative is relevant, impactful, sustainable, and aligned with Diaspora Care’s mission. Working closely with volunteers, Country Ambassadors, partners, and the leadership team, committee members help transform ideas into meaningful programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
Whether supporting emergency assistance, education, health, volunteer engagement, humanitarian response, or community development, the Program Committee helps ensure that every initiative reflects the spirit of gotong royong and creates lasting social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on the design, implementation, and evaluation of Diaspora Care programs.
- Review and recommend new initiatives that address the evolving needs of Indonesians abroad and communities in Indonesia.
- Establish program priorities, quality standards, and best practices to maximize effectiveness and sustainability.
- Collaborate with Country Ambassadors and volunteer teams to support successful program delivery across different countries.
- Develop program frameworks, implementation guidelines, and operational resources.
- Foster partnerships with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, corporations, and government agencies to expand program reach.
- Monitor program performance and recommend improvements based on data, feedback, and emerging community needs.
- Promote innovation by identifying new opportunities for volunteer engagement, capacity building, and social impact.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome volunteers with experience in:
- Nonprofit and community development
- Program or project management
- Public health and healthcare
- Education and youth development
- Humanitarian assistance
- Social work and community services
- International development
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Volunteer management
- Monitoring, evaluation, and impact measurement
We are looking for collaborative individuals who are strategic thinkers, passionate about service, and committed to creating programs that are inclusive, scalable, and responsive to community needs.
Commitment
- Volunteer position
- Approximately 4–6 hours per month
- Virtual collaboration with occasional participation in planning workshops, program reviews, and leadership meetings
- Flexible engagement based on expertise and availability
